Auto Suggestion – Financial Freedom

Auto Suggestion – The Medium for Influencing the Subconscious Mind

Until I started reading, actually absorbing Napoleon Hills book, Think and Grow Rich, I had forgotten that this is a skill my mother taught me for years, without me actually realising it was ‘auto-suggestion’, as described in Napoleon’s book.

As a child, I understood that by repeating something over and over again it seemed to come about. Whenever I was unwell, I would lie in my bed and repeat till the feeling passed, what my mother taught me;

“I am god’s perfect child I shall not be sick”.

And, you know it seems that 9 times out of 10 the feeling would pass, I would doze off to sleep and the next day I was as good as new again.

As an adult I still practice that little chant – and it works! Some taught, learnt and practiced habits never die!

I must also confess here for those of you with your eyes glazed and going yeah, yeah another biblical bash about whatever…my only sojourns into church now, is Funerals, last one I attended was my mother’s – coming up 2 years ago now, can’t say weddings, as even my wedding last year was in my backyard, with a Justice of the Peace.

I was in a relationship 18mnths ago now; it wasn’t a good place to be, my friends would always ask, when are you going to leave? My answer was when ‘My Knight in Shinning Armour’ comes along. I wished these thoughts all the time in my sleep, would dream them even, living it in my dreams – believing and hoping one day that it would happen. Well it did – I’m now happily married to my best friend of 26yrs and life is great. Again auto-suggestion…didn’t actually think of it like that until my husband mentioned it to me the other day, again.

In Napoleon’s book in Chapter Two, he insists that you write down your Desire’s, I believe the beginning of ‘one’s personal freedom’ is the process of writing it all down, it actually anchors your thoughts, it makes them a physical ‘being’ because these, your thoughts, are now ‘written’.

Where does the auto-suggestion come from then? Napoleon’s steps in Chapter Two, Desire, are concise;

  1. Decide the exact amount of money you want!
  2. What are you going to give in return for this desired amount of money?
  3. Decide a definite date by which this amount of money you desire will be acquired!
  4. Create your plan – whether you are ready not, put this plan of desire into action now!
  5. Write down a clear and concise statement of the amount of money you desire, how you plan to achieve this, when and what you plan to give in exchange for this (remember give and thine shall receive or give nothing receive nothing!)
  6. Read this statement to yourself morning and night out loud not in your head.

To show you how easy this can be, my plan is;

“In my first year of business I desire to earn $100,000. To achieve this desired sum, I will coach, mentor, and teach frustrated network marketers to become successful leaders: regardless of their company affiliation and I will do it for free.

I intend to reach my desired goal by 31 March 2010 by working daily in my business, helping people to the best of my ability and working through the processes I have set in place to achieve this desire.”

Acquiring this thought process, auto-suggestion, is not easy; it takes repetition, belief in you, commitment and hard work.

I belong to a group that ‘Masterminds’ this process weekly, we all learn from each other, we help each other to achieve and work through the process, we help each other believe. Believing in others helps them to believe in themselves.

You too can be part of our team.

Looking forward to meeting with you.

I Appreciate You

How will knowing your Prospects 'Colour' Personality help improve your Success in life?

How will knowing your Prospects 'Colour' Personality help improve your Success in life?

The Four Temperaments - Colour to Success, Hmm...!

Have you ever wondered how one person can talk to 25 prospects and sign up 20 and another person can talk to those same people and struggle to get just one?

The one thing common to both situations is the person doing the talking. So what is the difference between someone who can attract 20 out of 25 and someone who can attract 1 out of 25?

Maybe the only difference is learning and knowing your prospects 'colour' personality!

  • Yellow / Phlegmatic / Open and Indirect = 35% population
  • Blue / Sanguine / Open and Direct = 15% population
  • Green / Malencholy / Self contained and Indirect = 35% population
  • Red / Choleric / Self contained and Direct= 15% population
The terms sanguine, choleric, melancholy and phlegmatic are from ancient greek times when a person's personality was said to be determined by the "4 humours" in the body (humours=fluids): blood (sanguine), yellow bile (choleric--pronounced ko-LAIR-ic), black bile (melancholy) and phelgm (phlegmatic).

A rather descriptive interpretation from Wikipedia of the '4 Humours/Personalities';
  • Sanguine indicates the personality of an individual with the temperament of blood, Night, the seasonof spring(wet and hot), and the of air. A person who is sanguine is generally light-hearted, funloving, a people person, loves to entertain, spontaneous, and confident. However they can be arrogant, cocky, and indulgent. He/She can be day-dreamy and off-task to the point of not accomplishing anything and can be impulsive, possibly acting on whims in an unpredictable fashion. This also describes the manicphase of a bipolar disorder. The humour of Sanguine is usually treated with leeches.
  • Choleric corresponds to the fluid of yellow bile, the season of summer (dry and hot), and the element of fire. A person who is choleric is a doer and a leader. They have a lot of ambition, energy and passion and try to instill it in others. They can dominate people of other temperaments, especially phlegmatic types. Many great charismatic military and political figures were cholerics. On the negative side, they are easily angered or bad-tempered.

  • Melancholic is the personality of an individual characterized by black bile (hence Greekmelas, "black", + χολή, kholé, "bile"); a person who is a thoughtful ponderer has a melancholic disposition. Often very kind and considerate, melancholics can be highly creative – as in poetry and art - but also can become overly pre-occupied with the tragedy and cruelty fall /autumn (dry and cold) and the element earth. A melancholic is also often a perfectionist, being very particular about what they want and how they want it in some cases. This often results in being unsatisfied with one's own artistic or creative works and always pointing out to themselves what could and should be improved.
  • Phlegmatic person is calm and unemotional.Phlegmatic means "pertaining to phlegm", corresponds to the season of winter (wet and cold), and connotes the element of water. While phlegmatics are generally self-content and kind, their shy personality can often inhibit enthusiasm in others and make themselves lazy and resistant to change. They are very consistent, relaxed, rational, curious, and observant, making them good administrators and diplomats. Like the sanguine personality, the phlegmatic has many friends. However the phlegmatic is more reliable and compassionate; these characteristics typically make the phlegmatic a more dependable friend.
Have you worked out what Personality type you are?

I'm a Teal mixture of blue and green. Most of us have all the colours in us, but we are predominately one colour - except those of course that like to be Unique!

Would you like to know and learn more to discover what and why you need to know what colour you are and your 'prospects' even your friends and family (that could be fun too!)

Below is another descriptive way - lending more towards today's world - of the 'four personalities / four humors'.

Choosing a Network Marketing Business

How to Weed out the good from the bad in MLM

Choosing a Network Marketing business could be likened to weeding in your garden. So why is it do you think when it comes to the internet, that we throw everything we know out the window in total abandon and go with the first deal that crosses our screen and keyboard??

Definition of Network Marketing as per the Business Directory:
Direct selling method in which independent-agents serve as distributors of goods and services.

So with;
  • so many websites boasting the millions they’ve earned
  • or you receive an email that yells at you to ACT NOW!!!
  • or some guy on the phone who corners you with a closing question that you know you should be answering “No” to,

You need to be asking yourself some very simple and easy questions;
  • Is this duplicatable?
  • Could I ever do this?
  • Could I train all my people to do this?

If you only ever respond to approaches that you would be comfortable using yourself, and that you could train others to use, keep your brain in gear, then you will automatically avoid most scams that are out there.

The biggest successes today are people-and-relationship-driven companies,
with good products or services & good management.

So...what is it that you need to do now?
  • Get a good product or service to sell
  • THEN focus on helping OTHER people reach their dreams
  • THIS is your NEW top priority

Want to know how? Get in touch with me and I'll show you.

Life is too short to be in the wrong job!!!

Everybody says we have to do something....bu
t what? We feel as though we are busy these days, but that's not new. People seem to have got even busier and 'life is too short to ...'

Be in the wrong Job?
Life's too short...means what to you?

Its meaning according to 'Phrase and Meaning Finder';
Response to a request to do something that seems too petty to waste valuable time on.

The Origin:
This response goes back in print form to at least the late 19th century, and in people's minds probably much further. In May 1877, The Morning Oregonian included a story with this opinion:
"Oh I say, drawled Gerard; 'life's too short to be wasted talking about a woman. Let's go and get some beer."

In 1975, the English writer Shirley Conran published the book Superwoman, aimed at busy women, and coined the phrase 'Life is too short to stuff a mushroom'.

"Kerryn McCann noticed the lump in her breast months before she did anything about it, Jane McGrath, wife of cricketer Glenn McGrath, lost her 11-year battle with breast cancer. The dual Commonwealth marathon gold medallist and mother of three died on Monday morning at the age of 41 at her family's NSW home outside Wollongong in NSW, Australia, June 2008." Hmmm...Life is too short....

You maybe asking yourselves what has 'breast cancer', 'life is too short...' and 'being in the wrong job' got to do with each other. Well, actually....nothing and everything!!

I'm using this blog as a paradigm, to remind us all that 'life is like that', we all get along doing our thing, being really
busy and it's not until something drastic, life changing happens in our lives, that it jumps up and bites us on the nose, that we actually do anything about our situation.

So...here you are surfing the web, reading my post actually, looking to make some extra money, because in today's economic climate, there has to be a way to make money on the net? The problem being you don't really have any real spare money floating around, the opportunities seem to be abundant, endless and too good to be true. What one do you actually choose, which opportunity is 'for real'?

Everybody says we have to do something....but what? Well you could;
  • join a group of people that are here to safe guard and guide you,
  • mentor you,
  • tutor you - we have a myriad of people offering to help,
  • give you access to live training calls,

I believe I forgot to mention....we do all this for 'Free'.
